Our matcha is crafted with three essential commitments:
Shaded Cultivation By covering the tea plants during cultivation, the leaves develop a richer color, deeper flavor, and more complex aroma—ideal characteristics for high-quality tencha (the raw material for matcha)
Tencha Roasting Using a traditional tencha-ro (roasting furnace), the tea gains a distinctive fragrance known as hoiro-ka, a unique, toasty aroma that enhances the overall character of the matcha.
Stone Grinding The matcha is carefully stone-ground to produce a fine, fluffy powder with a smooth texture and enhanced fragrance.
